Yes. Tajuk kita agak formal di situ,.Haha. Tak adalah, cuma nak cerita sikit lah tentang pengalaman saya ber'interview' minggu lepas. Yes. I went for an interview on the last Friday(18th March) to UMG at Menara Ambank. Haha. It's cool.

Actually, pagi-pagi tu dah datang office (poyo je kan?). Sampai office dalam pukul 7.50 pagi, & keluar balik pukul 9.30 camtu, lepas tu, tak balik-balik dah. wahaha. Interview, janji pukul 11, tapi, ingat nak datang awal,
1) takut sesat
2) nak tengok-tengok dulu suasana dekat situ
3) nak usha-usha dekat staff around pasal company tu
4) nak gi makan dulu(wahahahaaa)

Iye. Memang saya pergi makan dulu dengan family (sebab waktu tu, family members yang lain baru habis from jog-walk dekat taman bunga, so, diorang ambil saya sekali, makan after jog) sebab takut interview habis lambat plus, lapar. Hahaha.

Tahu tak, saya sampai ke tempat interview tu pukul 10.20 pagi. Awal kan? haha. Tapi, seperti yang dijangka, tak ada orang lain. Sampai-sampai je, ada seorang akak dekat kaunter pertanyaan. She smiled & show me a thumbs and signed me to sit down. Sebab time tu she's on phone. Haha. Saya pun duduk lah. Bila dia dah habis bercakap dalam telefon, dia panggil saya suruh isi satu borang. I don't even need to ask a thing, she'd prepare everything. Memang saya tak expect semua tu. Haha.

On the while tengah isi borang tu, saya berbual lah dengan dia, & dia beritahu, ada dalam 20 orang yang akan interview hari ni. & FYI, I am applying for the Executive Public Relations with 5 opening position. High possibility to be taken? Nah~ Diorang ada double boiler interview (termasuk istilah buat kek pulak). Diorang buat 2 kali tapisan interview. Haaa~ baru tahu.. That company is kind of new, tapi, dia bernaung under satu company besar yang dah tak ingat nama dia. Haha. Diorang baru dibuka 2008, bukak franchise dekat PJ on 2009 and expanding their franchise by this year & upon the next-next year. They all very good sebenarnya, sebab mampu berkembang dengan begitu cepat. Rite2?

Ok, dah settle, borang, dia terus panggil saya masuk. Saya tengok jam. Baru pukul 10.40 pagi. Saya masuk, jumpa dengan branch manager, Mr Peri(not sure if this is the right spelling) & hell yeah, he looks young for a branch manager. Unfortunately, dia cakap dekat saya, dia nak staff immediately, sebab saya tulis dekat form, I might be available in Jun or July, but dia nak staff on May. Tapi, dia still professionally layan saya. Hahaha.

First thing first, maintain your eye contact. yup. That help a lot. Setiap kali dia atau saya bercakap, we talk eye to eye. That show, how much confident you possessed, & how adaptable you are to the situation. Yes. We need to be adaptable to the interviewer needs. Kalau dia bercakap sambil memegang pen & menulis, & matanya tajam memandang kita, we need to do the same. Write everything as if you are listening attentively, and look him in the eye. That is important.

Practice. Yes. I'd practicing for only 2 days before the interview, but I'd try doing my best.
1) rajin-rajinlah search pasal company yang akan di interview tu. Sebab, kita boleh link kan sikit jawapan-jawapan kita nanti dengan company tu. Kadang-kadang mereka akan uji kita dengan soalan yang macam ni:
1 :Why did you choose our company?
2 :What ability do you have to be in our company?

How to answer:
1 :I've read before that this company was build in 2008 but expanding it branches on the next year and that shows how excellent it is to be enhancing franchise in such a short time and it is suitable for those who seeks for excellency in their life, and those who always wanted to improve and enhancing skills and ability in their life, like me. *then bagitahu, pengalaman or pencapaian sebelum ni, yang berkaitan.

yup, for every answer, it must be included with example. You all sentiasa kena bagi example.
Like: I really love facing obstacle as it help me improve my skills , just like, before this in my university, we need to solve those complicated calculus and algebra, and once it is solved, it gives me satisfactions and fulfillment and makes me wanna try harder questions.

Tells us about yourself? that is a very popular questions. itu kita panggil soalan cepu mas. Thousand millions dollar questions, don't waste it.
: I'm Nana and I was studying in UiTM Shah Alam for 3 years. I used to be one of the higher committee in UiTM Rakan Muda club for 2 years and had organized a lot of charity and volunteer works around Selangor. A part from that, I'd joined the Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia as a secretary and was once representative for Selangor in a competition.......
*doesn't mean here to sell yourself, it is just to promote you, and shows how much experience, ability and skills you have for them not to make this interview a waste of your and their time*

so, amacam? sebenarnye, interview ni seronok kalau kita prepare betul-betul. A part from prepare for answers, prepare your outfit, your resumes, cert, and everything that is needed during the interview. It is crucial and important. You guys kena call that company beforehand, ask if is there anything that is needed for your interview, and don't forget to ask for the manager's or director's name. It shows your concern.

Jadi, untuk mereka dan sahabat-sahabat saya yang akan menjalani interview, yang tengah memburu kerja, jom , kita buat betul-betul. Don't get too cocky, but don't get too passive. Be your-self, & GOOD LUCK!!
